Like her name suggests, not much is known about Unknown (which includes her past history, and who she really is). Also, Unknown has a tattoo on one of her arms that resembles Jin Kazama's tattoo. Unknown starts a fight with the pre-fight animation, fighting stance, and fighting style of Jun Kazama. The third thing is that when playing against Unknown in Story mode, she has the ability to recover her health because she doesn't have a tag team partner (recovering health is usually restricted to the partner that is tagged out). The second thing is that Unknown can't use the fighting styles of certain characters that Mokujin and Tetsujin can, such as the fighting styles of Prototype Jack, Jack-2, and Gun Jack.
The first thing is that Mokujin and Tetsujin have to be switched out and in again to switch fighting styles, but Unknown can switch by the simple press of the R3 button. However, there are three things that differentiate Mokujin and Tetsujin from Unknown. During gameplay, Unknown can change her fighting style, much like how Mokujin and Tetsujin can. The wolf-like creature actually possesses Unknown for it's own purpose, which is to complete itself, as shown in Unknown's ending. Both Unknown, who doesn't actually have a proper name, and the wolf-like creature that possesses her aren't actually a tag team, much like how Kazuya Mishima and Devil seem to be. The wolf-like creature accompanies Unknown during fights. Unknown appears to be possessed by a wolf-like creature. This character hasn't made any other appearances. Unknown appeared in Tekken Tag Tournament as a playable character.
